The case for each is usually the same: "you'll get operational leverage." In practice, doctors often get fewer decisions, thinner margins, and an administrative layer they never asked for.
We think independent practice is worth keeping — and that the operational leverage doctors actually need can come without equity surrender. That's the entire thesis of DeltaRCM.
We also think that hospital-based departments, SNF provider groups, and integrative practices deserve the same financial discipline, on their own terms. The practice is the unit. Ownership structure is beside the point.
